Perspective — Health and Loved Ones are What’s Important. These Kids Get It.

For those of you who haven’t seen it, this article appeared in the Montreal Gazette recently.  It is an amazing story that I was lucky to be a part of, and ultimately it’s about kids with perspective on what’s important and all of us being grateful for our health and loved ones.  All of us, including me, get wrapped up in our daily stresses.  We’re human and our stresses are real.  But occasionally something wakes us up and reminds us that life is short and we don’t know how long we have.  We can make more of every day by keeping that in mind.  And that perspective can help ground us and “not sweat the small stuff” (too much, we always will), not to mention to treat each other better.
