Dry January — Taking a month off alcohol

Alcohol is consumed by many adults responsibly by many adults.  But we need to remember that it is potentially toxic and can harm us in numerous ways.

Dry January is a public health campaign urging people to abstain from alcohol for the month of January, particularly practised in the United Kingdom but spreading around the world.  Purported benefits include weight loss, better sleep, better immune system function, better skin, and a feeling of well-being and being in control of your drinking.
